Excited to become a part of DOF !

Hello UN ! So, as you can guess I just joined the DOF unit, and I thought my first post should be to take a moment to introduce myself and get to know each other. I'm 25 (almost 26), I come from a bilingual background so my mother tongues are French and Spanish, I'm here to improve my English and be more involved and forced to use this beautiful and handsome language. About myself; I love learning, reading, and words though I always feel that the more I learn the more I realize how less I know. I also have a soft spot for vintage things, like my Letters 40 Typewriter (which I use to write stories, put words to my thoughts or even homework from the University) but It doesn't stop there, to get some extra money and give a second life to things that people don't want anymore or are next to the trash but can be "saved" I take them home or people gave to me to sell them or even donating to people who might need them but can't afford to buy one.

The overconsumption era can keep going but not in my house, I'm doing the opposite and I truly believe that most of the time if you give for free things to people they don't appreciate the value, so money or any other way of change can also helps to find the appropriate owner to all those things that you don't want anymore. If you wonder what I sell? Honestly anything, I'm specialized in books (yeah I have more than 2000 to sell and they keep coming and selling), vintage clothes and modern ones (a lot, from any kind even Shein !), furniture, electronics, toys, whatever really...

As I commit into this new roles I want to emphasize that I'm not here only to write, share, write and implement my own way of seeing things, I want you to become an essential key of this journey, not only by replying in my posts, I want you to feel free to ask me anything about me, my background or anything you might be curious about. Furthermore, I'm specially interested in hearing what you would like to see in the forum: are any particular topics, activities or type of content you feel they are missing or could be improved? My first goal into this forum is to listen closely to your suggestions, ideas or whatever you want to let me know to work together on them, to make sure that you know that I'm here to make them happen if possible or working in any alternatives. I'm looking forward to connecting with all of you, understand your expectations and seeing what we can create together because I wish one day to be able to become part of this welcoming, engaging and inspiring forum.
