[DOF] My Summer With The Renegades

(this will be a long story, hope you enjoy the ride)

This summer hasn't been the kindest to me. I had to start the summer off with a relationship with someone I cared and cherished my life with being ended and then watch them move on to another person in front of me. During this time in my low I began to look for job opportunities and one was emailed to me by my teacher to help my university (RMIT University) and an up and coming cricket team the Melbourne Renegades where I would serve as student ambassador vlogging my time at the games both based in Melbourne and Geelong.

During this time, I met amazing people from different cultural background come together in the game of cricket on the beach (in which this writer said he did not need sunscreen only to get burnt hours later on his arms and neck) and being able to experience being in a city that I never been to as ofter as I am in Melbourne as well as the new atmosphere at a new stadium I never been too

This experince has been one of the greatest things in my life, being able to follow a team all season long, share their emotion in victory or defeat and forging new relationships with new people and this project has entirely given me a new fire started under me to regain my life from where I am now. I hope you all enjoyed reading this and I hope this somehow inspires you too, I want to thank my course advisor for suggesting this activity for me as well as the Renegades for an amazing season, as I always said in chat and base #GetOnRed

I told you so

See, I told you it would be fun and easier to write about something you enjoy/enjoyed doing.  It shows in the flow of words and in the picture as well.. Great job Aaron. Looking forward to reading more from you....

Dear me,

Writing based on personal experience(s) can be a bit tough, or even openly telling the readers something personal. But that's besides the point: you kept on going even when you're down; you crawled your way no matter how gritty it is, and I applaud you for picking your life back up. No matter the circumstance, keep going, my friend! The journey never ends!

I went through the firestorm

I went through the firestorm and remained
